Library Tip: PitchBook is primarily recommended for identifying startups and PE/VC firms, but also tracks public companies and can be useful as an all-purpose company database if you are not focusing purely on either public companies or startups.

PitchBook tracks startups, public and private equity markets, including venture capital, private equity, real estate, and M&A. Includes contact information. See the Research Center under Library on the left menu for private company, industry, and technology research reports from PitchBook's analysts.

Screener tool allows you to screen for companies, equities, transactions, people and more, based on more than 5,000 financial and 3,000 qualitative data points.
